When you take a photo of an item, our AI analyzes the image to identify the brand, model, condition, and other key attributes. It then cross-references real-time market data — including recent sales, auction results, and marketplace listings — to generate an estimated market value. The entire process takes just a few seconds. Please note that AI valuations are estimates and not professional appraisals.

Accuracy depends on several factors including photo quality, item condition, rarity, and current market availability of comparable sales data. For well-known items with established markets (popular watch models, mainstream sneakers, graded trading cards), accuracy tends to be very high. For rare, one-of-a-kind, or niche items, estimates may vary more widely. We continuously improve our AI models to increase accuracy across all categories.

ValuSnapAI PRO ($19.99/month or $199.99/year) includes: unlimited scans per day, price predictions across 6 timeframes (1, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 years), a completely ad-free experience, priority AI processing for faster results, and full portfolio analytics with detailed value breakdowns and trends. All plans include a subscription-based model.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel: open your device Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select ValuSnapAI → Cancel Subscription. Your PRO access will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You can also manage subscriptions directly through the App Store. Refunds must be requested through Apple.

To delete your account: open ValuSnapAI → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account, portfolio, and all associated data. Photos are deleted from our servers within 30 days. Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel separately through Apple before deleting your account.

We never sell your personal information — your name, email, photos, and portfolio contents remain private. However, we may sell or license anonymized, aggregated market data (e.g., "sneaker valuations increased 12% this quarter across 5,000 scans"). This data cannot be traced back to any individual user. You can opt out of data aggregation in Settings → Data & Privacy.

AI valuations are estimates and may not always be perfectly accurate. If you believe a valuation is significantly off, try rescanning with better lighting or a different angle. Make sure the item is clearly visible. You can also edit the valuation manually in your portfolio.
